For Overflow guildies. Pick whichever account you have handy.

You sign in on discord.com. We get your username and user ID. We never see your password, email, or messages.

You sign in on battle.net. We get your BattleTag and a read-only list of your WoW characters. We never see your password or payment info, and we can't change anything on your account.

Why this is safe

You never type a password on this site. Both buttons take you to the real Discord or Battle.net page. Check the address bar.
This is the same sign-in method Raider.IO and Warcraft Logs use (OAuth). They hand us a read-only pass, not your login.
You can revoke access at any time. In Discord that's Settings → Authorized Apps. In Battle.net it's your account's connected apps.

Discord works if you're in the Overflow server. Battle.net works if any character on your account is on the guild roster.
